Performance by the company LES BÊTES SUR LA LUNE and FANGLAO) – 2020 Live with It, is a performance combining dance and theatre co-built with Thiane Khamvongsa and filmed by Peter Livermoore. The troupe worked on the basis of ethnographic interviews collected as part of another sub-study of the Migrations project, conducted by representatives of the associations of VVIH people in Laos that we trained in the practice of research. These data relate the living conditions in rural Laos and the poverty that has led to migration to forms of work that are often illegal in Thailand. Interviews highlight social and spousal violence, sexual service sales practices, use of illicit products, but also stories
